Last Updated: March 12, 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Northbridge IT School website and any related pages, forms, and informational content (collectively, the “Site”). The Site is operated by Northbridge IT School Inc. (“Northbridge IT School,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing the Site, submitting an inquiry, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy are incorporated by reference and form part of these Terms.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Site. If you are under the age of majority in your province or territory, you may use the Site only with the involvement and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.
2. Educational and Career Support Disclaimers
Northbridge IT School provides job-ready IT training, lab-based practice, and career support services such as resume guidance, interview preparation, and portfolio review. The Site content is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute professional advice for any particular situation.
Outcomes vary. Hiring decisions depend on many factors beyond training, including prior experience, communication skills, local market conditions, interview performance, and employer requirements. We do not promise or guarantee employment, a specific salary, a certification outcome, or admission to any program.
Program details may reference tools, workflows, and scenarios intended to teach operational thinking (for example, incident write-ups, access hardening, and log review). This training is intended for lawful defensive learning and workplace readiness. It is not designed or marketed as a means to bypass security or compromise systems.
3. Description of the Site and Services
The Site describes Northbridge IT School programs, admissions information, tuition policy pages, and related educational offerings. The Site may include inquiry forms that allow you to request information from admissions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise on a specific page, the Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, including program descriptions, lab outlines, cohort schedules, or supporting content. We do not have an obligation to maintain any particular page, feature, or URL, provided that required legal notices remain accessible.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Site lawfully and responsibly. Without limiting other restrictions in these Terms, you must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected system.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site, or bypass any security or authentication measures.
- Use automated means to access, scrape, crawl, or collect content or data from the Site without our prior written permission.
- Submit false, misleading, or impersonated information through any form, including pretending to be another person or representing a company without authorization.
- Transmit malware, ransomware, harmful code, or attempt phishing or social engineering through the Site.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site, including overloading, flooding, or introducing content that degrades performance.
- Use the Site in a way that violates applicable sanctions laws or other trade restrictions.
We may suspend or block access to the Site when we reasonably believe use is abusive, unlawful, or harmful to other visitors, our operations, or our service providers.
5. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content, including text, structure, branding, visual design, and any original educational descriptions, are owned by or licensed to Northbridge IT School Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. “Northbridge IT School” and associated marks may be protected trademarks.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial informational purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, modify, create derivative works from, or exploit any portion of the Site without our prior written consent, except as permitted by applicable law.
6. Third-Party Services and Links
The Site may reference third-party tools or services commonly used in IT work (for example, cloud platforms, version control, monitoring concepts, or career platforms). These references are informational and do not imply endorsement, affiliation, or partnership.
Where the Site contains third-party links (if any), those links are provided for convenience. We do not control third-party content and are not responsible for third-party sites, products, or services, including their availability, security, or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and policies.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of content on the Site, including any program descriptions, schedules, or tuition summaries, which may change.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Northbridge IT School Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Site or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (if any) or (b) CAD 100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Northbridge IT School Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the Site, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your submission of information that is false, misleading, or violates the rights of another party.
10. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, war, terrorism, labour disputes, power failures, telecommunications failures, internet outages, cyberattacks, or failures of hosting or cloud providers.
11. International Use
The Site is controlled and operated from Canada. We make no representation that the Site is appropriate or available for use in all locations. If you access the Site from outside Canada, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws that may apply.
12. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction that provides mandatory consumer protections, you may also benefit from rights and remedies under your local laws that cannot be excluded by contract.
13. Dispute Resolution
Before starting a formal legal proceeding, you agree to contact us and provide a brief written description of the issue and your desired resolution. We will attempt to resolve disputes informally within 30 days of receiving notice. Nothing in this section limits either party’s right to seek urgent injunctive or equitable relief.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or used the Site in a way that may cause harm to the Site, other users, or our operations. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and other provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Northbridge IT School Inc. regarding your use of the Site and supersede any prior or contemporaneous communications on that subject.
17. Assignment
We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent.
18. No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Northbridge IT School Inc.
19. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective 14 days after the updated Terms are posted on this page, unless a change is required by law or relates to security or technical operation (in which case it may be effective immediately). The “Last Updated” date above indicates when these Terms were most recently revised.
20. Electronic Communications
By using the Site and communicating with us electronically, you consent to receive communications from us in electronic form. You agree that notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
